Weddings are one of those huge milestones in life and no longer is it just the traditional white wedding. For many it's a chance to make their special day as unique as they are! Check out some of these themed weddings chosen by couples around the world!
1. Game of Thrones Themed Wedding
Game of Thrones superfans Kerry Ford and Darren Prew, won a competition organised to celebrate the release of season 4 of the television series, where they got to marry at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire. Dressed as Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, together with their guests they spent 50 hours being transformed into their favourite characters by hair and make-up artists, before marrying in the grounds of the castle, which was chosen for its similarity to that of the fictitious King’s Landing.
2. Underwater Themed Wedding

3. Adventure Themed Weddings

4. Star Wars Themed Wedding
Paloma Mota and Russell Lynn Ellis were married in Pigeon Forge, Tenn, in a Star Wars themed wedding ceremony. Paloma was escorted down the aisle by Steve Rifenberick, dressed as Darth Maul, and a group of Storm Troopers!
5. John Deere-Themed Wedding
Bride Murandalee Hagedorn, surrounded herself with John Deere-themed bridesmaids, and rode behind a 3500 horsepower John Deere tractor to marry her Walla Walla sweetheart, Roy Cate, who arrived at the wedding on an antique John Deere tractor. The tractor proved too big even for a farming community, so four of the tractor’s 12 wheels had to be removed to negotiate Walla Walla streets.
6. Naked Wedding City Hall
Gypsy Taub, left, and Jaymz Smith, right, got married in the nude on the steps of the City Hall of San Francisco in defiance of the nudity ban. Gypsy, a mother of three, is the face of San Francisco’s nude rights movement, and she conducts nude interviews on public access TV.
