Here we are with the third and final instalment of stuff that we’ve seen taking place lately. Do any of these trends ring a bell with you..?

1. Lotta bottle…

What is it with adults slurping out of water containers with built-in nozzles? They may think it’s a really sporty thing to do, but to us it looks like they’re drinking out of a baby’s bottle!

2. Listen up!

Why have headphones become so massive? We’ve seen people walking around with them over their ears and they look like air-traffic controllers! We remember when they fitted in your ear they were that small!

3. Rain check

Thanks to the weather apps you can now download, some ‘bright’ spark will tell you the second that it’s going to rain, or the minute that the sun is going to come out. Seems there are no mysteries any more when it comes to meteorology…

4. Pop goes… weird!

This little girl looks like she expected a nice, sweet treat when she dived into this bag of popcorn. She probably didn’t know that they even did her favourite snack in tangy ginger. And we think her face says it all!

5. Christmas is coming…

Some pubs and restaurants have already set up a little festive corner and are taking bookings for Christmas and it’s only September! We hear the complaint every year that the festive season gets earlier – but we haven’t even been on holiday yet! It’d seem weird sunning ourselves in the Canaries, knowing that our Christmas bash is already organised!

6. Comeback kids (well not quite kids!)

We can’t believe how many familiar faces have returned to our screens. The X Factor has the most comebacks, with Dermot returning as presenter and Louis, Sharon and Nicole all joining Simon on judging duties. At rival show Strictly Come Dancing, Arlene Phillips has said she’d like to replace head judge Len Goodman when he leaves after this series. There have also been rumours that Tom Jones is to return as a coach when The Voice switches from the Beeb to ITV next year.
