From: sex + texting.  To send and receiving sexually explicit messages on mobile phones.

From: text + expectation. The intense anticipation felt when waiting for a response from a text.

3. Screenager

From: screen + teenager.  An adolescent who excessively watches screen entertainment.

4. Webinar

From: web + seminar. An interactive presentation or seminar that is transmitted over the Web using video conferencing software.

5. Brangelina

From: Brad + Angelina. The supercouple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

6. Emoticon

From: emotion + icon. Facial expressions formed by various combinations of keyboard characters and used in electronic communications to convey the writer’s feelings or intended tone.

7. Internest

From: internet + nest. The comfy place made in a bed so you can surf the internet.

8. Shopaganda

From: shopping + propaganda. Advertising by supermarkets and banks etc which trumpet their social responsibility.

9. Askhole

From: ask + a**hole. Someone who asks stupid or pointless questions.

10. Bromance

From: brother + romance. The complicated love and affection shared by two straight males

11. Dudevorce

From: dude + divorce. When a bromance goes bad and two guys fall out.

12. Nerdjacking

From: nerd + hijacking. To hijack a conversation by introducing an obscure topic or discussing a common one to an excessive level of detail.

13. Voluntold

From: volunteer + told. To be told to do something, usually by your boss but as though it was voluntary. For example “I got voluntold I have to work this weekend.”

14. Unkeyboardinated

From: uncoordinated + keyboard. Unable to type without repeatedly making mistakes.

15. Celebutante

From: celebrity + debutante. Someone who is famous for being famous but who has no apparent talent.

From: Twitter +  literati. The Tweet elite, whose twitter feeds attract millions of followers.

17. Twittersphere

From: Twitter + atmosphere. The total universe of Twitter users and their habits.

18. Netiquette

From: internet + etiquette. Acceptable on-line behaviour.

19. Metrosexual

From: metropolitan + heterosexual. A straight guy, especially one who lives in a city, who is especially meticulous about his grooming and appearance and typically spends a significant amount of time and money on fashion, and similar interests traditionally associated with women or gay men.

20. Geocaching

From: geography + caching. A  treasure hunt in which participants use a GPS to hide and seek containers of treasure.

21. Glamping

From: glamour + camping. Camping on a luxury scale!
